PSN maintenance scheduled for over five hours today, downtime detailed

Sony has cautioned gamers that elements of PlayStation Network will go down for maintenance today for a period of over five hours.

It comes from a post on the PlayStation forums; which confirms that the PS Store, PlayStation Home and Account Management will go down between 16:30-22:00 UK, 08:30-14:00 Pacific Time and 11:30-17:00 Eastern Time.

If you've signed into PSN since March 6, you will still be able to access online multiplayer and third-party apps such as Netflix during the maintenance period.

Sony stressed, "In order to access online game play and partner apps during this routine maintenance, we ask that you please sign in to the network prior to Monday, March 10th."
