PSA: It's a free Xbox Live Gold weekend in the US, postponed in the UK

Microsoft is allowing Silver members of Xbox Live to play as Gold members this weekend for free in the US. Unfortunately, the free weekend in the UK has been postponed.
According to a Microsoft spokesperson speaking with CVG, the postponement is due to a "technical reason," and the firm will announce a new date once the issue is resolved.
Meanwhile, over in the US, the free Gold weekend kicks off this afternoon around 1pm EST.
The free play weekend ends on Sunday.
