PSA - Halo: Reach multiplayer beta kicks off today

haloreach

After nearly a year of waiting, the Halo: Reach multiplayer beta kicks off in earnest today.

The taster for the online portion of Bungie's several-course meal starts today for anyone with a copy of Halo 3: ODST.

Some early codes were given away over the weekend, but this is when most of the general public gets involved.

The beta ends on May 19. The studio will then add final touches to the game ahead of a fall release in what will be its final Halo title before going off into its new, Activision-published IP.

If you don't have a copy of ODST already, you can grab one for just over £15 at Amazon.

There's an introduction to the beta already available for those who own the game. Boot it up and it's already available to view.

Nelson says the taster itself won't be available until early evening here.

Time to play the waiting game, kids.
