PS4 videos show off new augmented reality camera demos

PlayStation 4's camera hasn't been used as an augmented reality device to its fullest extent it seems, as suggested by a pair of new videos out of Sony.

It follows this PS4 SHAREfactory video trailer, that shows how the new firmware update 1.7 tool can be used to give you greater control over your shared video clips.

Posted on the Japanese PlayStation blog, Sony's first clip shows a user scanning two cards to make a pair of virtual containers, which he then fills with water.

This clip shows how users can project virtual elements into their world and then shine a light around them using dynamic lighting tech.
