PS4 update 1.50 live now at 308 MB, can run off USB drive

PlayStation 4's day-one update 1.50 has gone live now, allowing users to download it ahead of Friday's launch and run it off a USB drive. It'll save all the launch day installation screens.

You can download the PS4 update via PlayStation's US site now.

It includes remote play functionality, the ability to broadcasts and spectate gameplay, multi-log-in, party chat functions, as well as screenshot and footage capture.

PS4 is out November 15 in the US and November 29 across the UK and Europe.
