PS All-Stars: Battle Royale beta begins this week, details here

PlayStation All-Stars: Battle Royale is going into public beta this week, Sony has confirmed. Find out how and when you can get involved below.

PS Blog EU confirmed that PS Plus subscribers would be given first access to the beta on PS3 via PlayStation Store.

PS Plus members can take part on PS3 from October 17th and then the doors will open to everyone from October 24th.

PS Vita owners get a treat however, as they can play - even if they aren't PS Plus subscribers - from tomorrow October 16th.

Both betas will support cross-play between PS3 and PS Vita.

Here's a Sony statement on what to expect in the beta:

  • You’ll be able to play as Kratos, Sweet Tooth, Colonel Radec, Sly Cooper, PaRappa and Fat Princess.
  • You’ll be able to play in both the Metropolis and Hades stages.
  • You’ll be able to try out four-player online tournaments and 2 vs 2 online tournaments. For the 2 vs 2 games we’ll be supporting friend invites, so you and a friend can fight another team online.
