Project Phoenix Kickstarter ends with $1,014,60 in funding, more donated through PayPal

The Kickstarter for Project Phoenix has ended with 15,802 backers pledging $1,014,600 in funding along with another $44,241 earned from PayPal. This brings the grand total to $1,058,841 and enables the development of an explorable overworld along with upgraded combat transition and players will now also be able to fight inside the Kraken. Donations are still being accepted through PayPal, though without backer-exclusive rewards. Project Phoenix will be released on Linux, Mac, PS4, and Vita in mid-2015.
