Pokemon X & Y players can choose between Chespin, Froaki and Fennekin as well as one classic starting creature - either Bulbasaur, Charmander and Squirtle - at the beginning of their quest.
The details were confirmed during Nintendo's Pokemon X & Y Nintendo Direct feed today. You can check out full details from the stream here.
Game Freak's Junichi Masuda confirmed that the three classic starter Pokemon will also come with Mega Evolution forms that must be unlocked throughout the player's journey. The forms are Mega Venusaur, Mega Charizard and Mega Blastoise.
