Pokémon X & Y breaks Australian Nintendo sales records

With sales of over 100,000 units in its first weekend, Pokémon X & Y has become Australia's fastest-selling Nintendo game. The new entry takes the title from precursor Pokémon Black & White, which managed 80,000 in its first week - a figure X & Y managed in over one day. The figures come courtesy of the NPD Group Australia. Nintendo Australia has released more stock of X & Y this week, as some retailers ran out completely.
