A release date for Crown Tundra has been announced for Pokemon Sword and Shield expansion pass owners.

In the expansion, the second content releasing as part of the pass, it finds a man named Peony appointing you as leader of his exploration team and tasks you with investigating the frozen land.

You will also explore the Pokemon Dens seen during Max Raid Battles, and come across unseen Legendary Pokemon which make the Crown Tundra their home.

Alongside the news, today's news update also announced that on November 6, an all-in-one bundle for Pokemon Sword and Pokemon Shield will be released and each will include the expansion pass.

It was also announced that some special Pikachu are on the way to the games as well, but you will need passwords that will be revealed in various places. The first one is available now, and the password is P1KACHUGET. Ash's Pikachu will be wearing various hats and there will be eight in all.

Also announced was an update for Pokemon Home. According to the announcement, the link between Pokemon Go and Pokemon Home is planned by the end of 2020. When it goes live, you will get the chance at a Gigantamax Melmetal.

To get the Pokemon, all you need to do is transfer a Pokemon Go Pokemon to Pokemon Home. One that happens, you can grab this special version of Melmetal which can then be used in Gigantamax form in Pokemon Sword and Shield.
