Pokemon Say Tap hitting iDevices and Android in Japan this summer

A Pokemon game has been announced for a non-Nintendo console? Inconceivable! And yes, it means what we think it means.

Seriously though, the game is called Pokemon Say Tap, and the rhythm-based game is set to release this summer in Japan fore free on iPhone, iPad and Android.

The game has you tapping away to the beat of official anime songs from the Black and White series, via virtual Pokemon trading cards.

Another Pokemon mobile game, Pokemate, was previously released on mobile phones, but saw a Japan-only release, and it's likely Pokemon Say Tap won't leave the country either.

However, GamesRadar suggests folks create a Japanese iTunes app store account if they want to get a hold of it outside of Japan.
