During today's Nintendo Direct, it was announced Pokemon Sun and Moon would feature Pokemon Bank functionality.

This will make it possible for players to move all captured Pokemon wirelessly from Pokemon Red, Blue, and Yellow, to the upcoming games.

Pokemon from Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire along with Pokémon X & Y can also be transferred to Pokemon Sun and Moon using the bank feature.

Pokemon Red, Blue and Yellow will release for 3DS tomorrow, February 27 through the Nintendo eShop.

If you're in the market for a New 3DS, a bundle featuring Red, Blue and Yellow pre-installed on the system will release tomorrow as well.

The North American version features two cover plates: one with the Blastoise evolution of Wartortle and the other Charizard. It also includes a download code for a new Pokemon menu theme.

Cover plates in Europe are Super Mystery Dungeon and Pokemon series-themed.

On the same day, three new Nintendo 2DS Special Edition bundles will also launch. Hit up the link for more information.
