The Mythical Hoopa Pokemon distribution event will take place at McDonald's

Most of the Pokemon distribution events in North America occur at retail stores, as far as we can recall, but the latest will occur at your local McDonald's restaurant.

Announced earlier this month, the event is open to Pokemon X&Y players as well as Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire.

Those who stop the restaurant chain, which is a StreetPass hotspot, can grab the Level 50 Mythical Hoopa which isn't obtainable during normal gameplay. No purchase is necessary, unless you really want a Big Mac or a large Diet Coke.

As previously reported, Mythical Hoopa has the Magician Ability and is recognized by its two horns and the golden ring that adorns its body. This ring allows the Pokemon to “bend dimensions” and move objects across a large distance.

Mystical Hoopa will be made available through the distribution event in North America November 27 to December 23.

In the UK, players will just need to head over to the nearest GAME store between now and November 5.
