Pokemon: Magikarp Jump begins roll out on iOS, download it from the Italian App store now

There's a new Pokemon game on out on mobile all about Magikarp.

Pokemon: Magikarp Jump splashed its way into the Italian App Store yesterday and if you desperately want to get in on the action, you can download it right now.

According to Serebii.net you'll be tasked with catching a Magikarp, feeding and training it, and then setting off to pit it against other Magikarps to see if it can jump higher than they can. Various other pokemon you meet along the way can help out somehow. Maybe by lobbing your Magikarp into the air. Who knows.

The game was developed by GameFreak and you can pick it up for free, but there are in-app purchases you can fritter you money away on.

If you can't wait for the roll out in your region, you can set up an Apple account for Italy to download it now by creating a new account and selecting Italy as the region, although you'll need to enter an Italian address.

Obviously the game will be in Italian, so bear that in mind.

There's no way to download it on Android yet, so you'll have to wait for the official release or an APK.
