Pokemon Let's Go Alolan Pokemon - How to Catch Alolan Pokemon in Pokemon Let's Go Pikachu and Eevee

It was back in Pokemon Sun and Moon on the 3DS that we saw the introduction of Alolan Pokemon. These are Pokemon that have had a change in color palette, and they're something of a rarity. In this Pokemon Let's Go Alolan Pokemon guide, we'll be walking you through how to get Alolan Pokemon in Pokemon Let's Go as easily as possible.

How to Get Alola Pokemon in Pokemon Let’s Go

For those that don’t know, Pokemon Let’s Go Pikachu and Eevee are remakes of Pokemon Yellow, and they mostly keep the same cast of Pokemon that featured in the original game. However there are exceptions to this rule, and you can find some unique Pokemon that hail from the Alola region, within the game.

What’s so great about Alolan Pokemon? Pokemon that hail from the Alola region look dramatically different to their standard counterparts. For example you can see the Alola Grimer just below, which has a different color pallete to the standard version of Grimer.

Just below, we’ve compiled a list of all the Alola Pokemon found within Pokemon Let’s Go so far, and how you can obtain each one.

• Alola Diglett - In the Lavender Town Poke Center, there’s a woman that wants to trade a Kanto Diglett for an Alola Diglett.
• Alola Grimer - Within the Poke Center on Cinnabar Island, you can find a punk guy that’s willing to trade a normal Gimer for the Alola Grimer.
• Alola Marowak - In the Poke Center in Fuchsia City, you can find a gentleman in a suit that want to trade a Alola Marowak for your normal Marowak.
• Alola Raichu - In the Saffron City Poke Center, you can obtain an Alola Raichu by trading your Kanto Raichu.
• Alola Rattata - Within the Poke Center in Cerulian City, a woman will trade you an Alola Rattata, for your normal Rattata.
• Alola Sandshrew - In Celadon City, there’s a boy that will trade you an Alola Sandshrew, for your Kanto Sandshrew.

As of right now, these are all the Alolan Pokemon that we’ve found in Pokemon Let’s Go Pikachu and Eevee. If we discover any additional Pokemon from Alola within the game, we’ll make sure to update our guide straight away.
