Next Pokemon Go Community Day will be held on May 19 and features Torchic

The next Pokemon Go Community Day event takes on Sunday, May 19 and this time out it will star Torchic.

Torchic, the Fire-type Pokemon introduced in Generation 3, is your next Community Day creature in Pokemon Go.

The monthly event will be live between 3pm and 6pm local time.

In the base Pokemon games, it evolves into Combusken starting at level 16, and Blaziken starting at level 36. Along with Treecko and Mudkip, the adorable chicken is a starter Pokemon in the Hoenn region.

Bonuses and exclusive move

During Pokemon Go Community Day in May, you will also receive 3× Catch Stardust and three-hour Lure bonuses.

Torchic's exclusive move is currently hidden. As usual, Fast TMs and Charged TMs will not grant exclusive moves during Community Day. To learn the exclusive move, you must catch or evolve the featured Pokemon during Community Day hours.
