Nintendo's confirmed that Pokemon Black & White 2 will launch in Europe on October 12 and the US on October 7.

At launch, Nintendo will also release Pokémon Dream Radar for purchase in the Nintendo eShop. This downloadable title for 3DS allows users to catch their favorite Pokémon, "including some very rare ones," via the camera, motion control and AR. Players can then transfer them into Pokémon Black Version 2 and Pokémon White Version 2.

The latest version off the Nintendo classic are stamping all over Japan at the moment, ratcheting up sales of 1,561,738 in the country for DS systems in its opening week.

It was reported last Saturday that pre-orders had hit 1.16 million.

The game will be available for all DS systems, but only playable in 2D on 3DS.
