PlayStation TV launch prepped for North America and Europe this fall

PlayStation TV is coming to North American and European markets this fall, Sony announced during its E3 2014 conference this evening.

The system enables users to access various PlayStation game content on their TV at home. The device is small and is approximately 2.5 x 4.1 inches.

PlayStation TV will cost $99 for the standalone system, and user will be able to download select PS Vita, PSP and PS One classics through the PlayStation Store and stream select PS3 games to the device via PS Now.

They can also play PS4 games from a PS4 system in their home over local Wi-Fi through Remote Play. Select PS Vita games will also be playable on PS TV via PS Vita cards.

Entertainment content such as movies, TV shows, and music will be available to buy, rent, or stream from PlayStation Store. This incredibly fits perfectly next to living room TVs, while also being portable enough to let gamers move it easily to other TVs in their home.

You can also buy PS TV via a bundle which comes with the device, a DualShock 3, HDMI cable, a 8GB memory card, and LEGO Movie: The Video Game voucher for $139.

Known as Vita TV in Japan, PlayStation TV will allow users to play close to 1,000 games from launch.
