PlayStation Store finally gets wishlist feature, but it's very limited

The PlayStation Store has been updated to support a long-requested basic function.

You can now start adding titles to your wishlist on the PlayStation Store. The feature was activated very recently and is available across all regional sites.

Unfortunately this a web-only affair, with the built-in store in both consoles still missing it.

When landing on any game page, you will see an option to add it your wishlist beneath 'Add to Cart'. The new feature, signified by the heart icon, now occupies the same place where wallet amount used to be.

The wallet funds have been moved next to the 'Add Wallet Funds' option you get when you hover over your account name.

Outside of offering two privacy options (Friends and No One), there doesn't appear to be any indication of whether or not Sony will email users when games they wish for are on sale, similar to what Steam, and many other sites do.
