Sony has announced an update 1.4 for PlayStation Home, which will update the core client with new and revised features.

While Sony hasn't listed the full list of what to expect, instead promising to reveal more next week, it did give PS3 users a taste of what's to come over on the US PS Blog.

With the update, voice chat is coming back and users will also be able to form a group with up to eight people and chat "in both public and personal spaces". Groups will have dedicated voice and text chat channels which will also be made available for clubs.

Wardrobe improvements are also coming wit version 1.4, allowing users to mark items as favorites, newly-acquired items will be marked accordingly, and options for "filtering and sorting" these  items will be added as well. A storage section is included in the wardrobe changes, which will allow users to load and browse their items faster.

Again, this is just a taste of what's to come, so we'll keep you updated as more changes are announced.

The update to Home, once it's live on November 11, will not be an automatic update, but instructions on how to apply it will be posted next week.
