PlayStation business generates $2.16 billion in Q1 09, turns profit

According to this GI piece, Sony's PlayStation business generated $2.16 billion in the company's first quarter, ending June 30, a 16.8 percent increase YoY.

The division reported operating income of $51 million for the three months, compared to an operating loss of 29.2 billion yen for the same period last year.
