PlayStation 4 firmware update 2.51 now live  

Firmware update 2.51 has been released for the PlayStation 4.

PlayStation 4 users have started receiving the latest firmware update this morning. Update 2.51 is clocking in at just over 200MB. The official firmware portal on Sony's site has not yet been updated to reflect the new release.

According to PS4 firmware however there are only two new stability fixes.

  • System software stability during use of some features has been improved
  • Operation quality during use of some applications has been improved
