PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds: vaulting and climbing coming to test servers in early November, full details soon

The highly-anticipated PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds vaulting and climbing features will be in the hands of test server players very soon.

In early November, PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds developer Bluehole will make the feature available on test servers. At least two more patches will also roll out on test servers before the 1.0 launch at the end of the year.

The first iteration, as indicated previously, will feature the first implementation of the vaulting and climbing animations. Bluehole said the feature needs at least three days of extensive testing, and encouraged players to take part in the test.

More details about the release date, and exactly what content this testing round includes will be revealed "soon." These announcements could be made very shortly before the features go live without a big lead-up, however, as Bluehole wants to include as much information as possible.

"We plan to solve many of the bugs from the current live servers, and we are also constantly working on optimisation," the developer said.

"You will be able to experience bug fixes, optimisation, and many other improvements in the test servers that will be run prior to the official release."

Finally, the developer said that while it takes all feedback into account, not all fixes are easily merged with the live build. Though some bugs have already been fixed in an internal build, you may not see them in the live build for a while. It sounds like version 1.0 will be an entirely new version, but we'll have to wait and see.
