Play online multiplayer games for free on PS4 this weekend

Sony is holding a PS Plus open weekend on PlayStation 4, letting anyone who isn't a subscriber experience online multiplayer of any game for free.

The firm posted the news on the PlayStation Blog, and added that the promotion starts off on Friday September 26 at 8.00am BST/9.00am CET/11:59pm/12:01am Pacific.

The open weekend runs through Sunday September 28 at 11:59pm Pacific in the US, or Monday September 29 at9.00am BST/10.00am CET in Europe.

The offer applies only to online multiplayer and not other PS Plus perks, such as discounts or cloud saves.
