Plants Vs Zombies: Garden Warfare update to hit Xbox One tonight, should fix DLC crash issue

Plants Vs Zombies: Garden Warfare developer PopCap should be rolling out a new Xbox One patch tonight that fixes a selection of problems that have surfaced from the soil since the shooter's Garden Variety DLC pack launched.

Confirmation comes from PopCap's Justin Wiebe, who had this to say on Twitter:

Unfortunately, it looks like Xbox 360 players will be left waiting for the patch a little longer. It appears to be a pressing matter, as some games have reportedly complained that the first DLC pack has caused players' consoles to freeze. That's obviously not good.
