Pillars of Eternity has gone gold

Pillars of Eternity is finished, so we can soon put it in our lives and love it tenderly, as nature intended.

The crowd-funded Project Eternity is about to bear fruit. Obsidian sent a press release to inform us the RPG has hit "Gold Master" status.

The project has been in the works for two and a half years, and was the tenth most-funded Kickstarter ever. Obsidian continued collecting pledges and preorders - you only have a few days to put in one of those, if that's your thing, to receive a Giant Miniature Space Piglet companion and the Gaun’s Pledge ring.

Pillars of Eternity hits Linux, Mac and PC on March 26.

Currently, Obsidian is in the early stages of production on a hefty expansion for Pillars of Eternity, but will eventually move onto a sequel.

Disclaimer: I backed Project Eternity and about 14 other things I vaguely remember on occasion. Also I pre-order games sometimes because I am Part Of The Problem.
