Perception seems pretty creepy - new gameplay video

Perception developer The Deep End Games has offered us a better look at the unique gameplay of the crowdfunded horror title.

In Perception, you play a blind woman named Cassie exploring a haunted mansion. What the player sees is a representation of Cassie's echolocation powers.

Judging by the new gameplay video below, in practice this means your "vision" is strictly limited, which makes for some creepy moments. Check it out, bearing in mind all the usual pre-alpha disclaimers and advisories:

I love how she's like "what the hell, this door turned into a closet" and not like, "what the hell there are rotting bodies and ghosts everywhere". Perhaps these phenomena are common by this stage of the game.

Perception is in the final days of its Kickstarter and closing in on tis goal. It comes to us courtesy of a number of Irrational Games and BioShock veterans.
