Earlier today we reported that a listing for PaRappa the Rapper had been spotted on the Korean Game Rating Board and that it maybe kinda suggested that a remaster or new game was in the works that we might perhaps see being announced at PSX.

Well that's exactly what happened, and it's not just PaRappa the Rapper that's getting the remaster treatment. Patapon and LocoRoco are also making their way to PS4.

All three games will be released in 2017 for PS4 and PS4 Pro in 4K and 1080p. New features have even be added " to take advantage of PS4 and DualShock 4 capabilities."

The controller will act as a metronome for PaRappa the Rappa, while giving LocoRoco the benefit of motion controls.

To mark the 20th anniversary of PaRappa the Rappa, you can go ahead and download the Remastered demo today.
