Seems 3DO wasn't enough discouragement, then.
Panasonic's revealed a new handheld games console coming from the company which allows users to access online games and MMOs wherever they go.
According to Gizmodo, the device will apparently feature a QWERTY keyboard, touchpad, shoulder buttons and a d-pad, as well as a HDMI port and a micro USB port.
The device will also apparently run with a custom build of Linux.
What has been confirmed, however, is the first game to support the device: the upcoming Battlestar Galactica MMO from BigPoint.
Jungle also got an appearance on MTV show Rob Dyrdek's Fantasy Factory overnight in the US.
Panasonic had previously tried its hand with 3DO, which didn't turn out to be the biggest success in the world, ever.
There's videos of the handheld and BSGO below via the official website.
