Overwatch pros fined for "big d**k" joke in live chat

Blizzard has fined two professional Overwatch League players for using some colourful language in chat.

Jung-won ‘Lastro’ Mun, who plays for the Los Angeles Valiant, and San Francisco Shock's Dong-jun ‘Rascal’ Kim are two Overwatch League professional players who were fined $1,000 each on Sunday.

Blizzard took this disciplinary action as a result of the pair's in-game chat language, which took place in a live Overwatch League match. Lastro started it, typing "big dick" and "sex" in chat, which got Rascal to later reply with some symbols we'll leave you to guess what they represent.

As reported by The Loadout, the two players somehow forgot that in-game chat is visible to viewers, and quickly apologised when match casters intervened. It was all seemingly in good fun, but Blizzard wasn't having any of it.

The fines didn't come with any suspensions for either player, so both are free to continue taking part in their respective teams' matches.
