Overwatch closed beta back in action next week

Overwatch will once more open its doors to a select few testers, and you could be among them.

While not yet ready for open testing, Overwatch will host another closed beta next week.

The test kicks off on February 9 in Europe and the US, February 10 in Australia and New Zealand, and February 16 in Asia. This session will show off a number of new features and refinements added since last time, as outlined by Blizzard:

  • An all-new progression system
  • Two new maps, including a new game mode
  • Several hero balance updates
  • A variety of Private Game updates, including full A.I. matches

Veterans of the previous closed beta test will be granted return access. Otherwise, if you have an active Battle.net account, simply opt-in to the test for a chance at selection. Blizzard is hoping for a larger player pool this time, so your chances are better than the previously test.

Overwatch launches something this year, for PC, PS4 and Xbox One.
