OUYA will be missing some online features at launch

OUYA will ship to backers on March 28, but the console's creators have confirmed that it will be missing some online features at launch.

After seeing a report on The Verge from SXSW over the weekend - in which company founder Julie Uhrman stated that OUYA would not have online multiplayer at launch - Destructoid got in touch with the studio to clarify the matter.

They replied saying that online multiplayer would be supported from March 28, but that online chat, friends lists, and achievements would not.
