Origin adds 11 new publishers, RIFT lands on the service with extras

EA has announced the addition of 11 new publishers to Origin, as well as Trion World's MMO RIFT, which is available on the service starting today.

Publishers CD Projekt RED, Freebird Games, Recoil Games, Autumn Games, 1C Company, inXile entertainment, Paradox Interactive, Core Learning Ltd. and N3V Games will be available on Origin in the coming months.

Those who purchase RIFT through the service can choose between the Standard and Ashes of History editions for $19.99/£19.99 and $29.99/£24.99 respectively.

For a limited time, purchasing the MMO through Origin will include in-game bonuses such as the Screechling Vanity Pet and the Ascended Gift Pack which includes the following:

  • Spirit Woven Backpack – 10 slot bag.
  • Essence of Magic (10) – Restores a small amount of mana.
  • Essence of Health (10) – Restores a small amount of health.
  • Soul Nectar (20) – Restores a moderate amount of health and mana over 10 seconds.
  • Words of Might (5) – Temporarily increases Dexterity, Strength, Intelligence, and Wisdom.

Currently, Origin offers digital downloads of over 100 PC titles from EA and other publishers.
