Ori and the Will of the Wisps gets its E3 debut

After a great deal of anticipation, Ori and the Will of the Wisps will finally continue Ori's story.

Thanks to the success of Ori and the Blind Forest, fans have been hoping a sequel would arrive for well over a year. Now Microsoft finally has details to share about Ori and the Will of the Wisps so we can get our hopes up all over again.

Ori and the Blind Forest was a 2015 Metroidvania platforming game inspired by The Lion King, The Iron Giant, and games like Rayman.

It follows a guardian spirit who must gather elements that will restore balance to the forest of Nibel. In the sequel, Ori must explore the world beyond the forest to discover other "lost ones" and the truth behind their destiny.

A trailer for the highly anticipated sequel, Ori and the Will of the Wisps, shows off some rather dynamic combat mechanics, interesting enemy encounters and the return of challenging puzzles

The story-driven adventure releases on Xbox One and Windows 10 in 2019.
