OnLive update adds parental controls, group chat

A major update to cloud gaming subscription service OnLive has added some much requested features.

Destructoid reports the new Group Voice Chat option works cross platform for PC, Mac and micro console users. Players can keep up a conversation with gaming buddies regardless of what they're playing.

A new parental controls system allows concerned guardians to keep their offspring reigned in - locking down titles rated M and higher, shutting off brag clips, and blocking stranger chat and spectating.

Finally, OnLive has upped its Facebook integration, allowing players to automatically post brag clips and achievements to their Facebook profiles.

OnLive is available in the US and UK, and intend to launch in Europe shortly. It offers an ala carte selection of AAA games streamed directly to a variety of devices, as well as all-you-can-eat monthly subscription service.
