OnLive seen running on iPad

onlivelogo

OnLive has been caught on camera working with an iPad.

The technology, which is due to begin today in the US, was shown running on the device for the first time, although it was stated that this was not the final product, but “only an example of how ubiquitous the OnLive service truly is.”

OnLive say that when a new platform comes along, all they have to do is write a client, allowing to play games anytime, anywhere.

In the video, you can clearly see Borderlands running on iPad, and even though the controls do look a bit awkward, it seems that these were only for the purpose of the demo.

The developers did say that they're not sure when or if the iPad client will even ever be available, but from this evidence we can only hope.

OnLive hits the UK next year.
