Okabu release date set for October 18

As suggested by the discount included in this month's PS Plus update, Okabu's flying whale-riding action is just days away.

The October 18 launch was announced on the US PS Blog, and was marked by a new trailer introducing the game's playable heroes, each of whom boasts a unique power like Piccolo's charm abaility.

A PlayStation Network exclusive published through Sony's indie fund, Okabu comes from the creators of Rolando, Hand Circus. The game sees players defending villages from attack by solving a variety of environmental puzzles.

Also: the music is amazing and it's super cute. Squee!
