Destiny 2 beta testers hate Warlock Voidwalkers more than anything on this wretched planet right now.
The Destiny 2 beta has had its share of glitches but they've all be in good fun ... until now.
But infinite grenades in PvP...? And worse, infinite grenades for Warlocks, instead of a noble class like the Hunter? No. No, shut it down, Bungie. The beta is a failure and Destiny 2 is cancelled.
The glitch takes a little practice to pull off, but essentially: any Voidwalker grenade can be spammed constantly, with no cooldown, just by tapping the melee and grenade keys almost simultaneously. It won't work if you have a fully-charged super because you'll set it off accidentally, but otherwise you can go for your life spamming grenades endlessly.
According to redditors, the glitch was first discovered by someone who may or may not rejoice in the handle of MoonMan, then passed on to YouTuber Violent Privilege Gaming, who popularised it with the video below. Well I say "popularised"; this is really not popular with anybody on the receiving end.
Clearly, this is not going to hang around for long; as well as making a joke of enemies in PvE, it's thrown multiplayer into chaos. I wouldn't be surprised to see it patched out of the Destiny 2 beta before it closes, if it is at all possible; although it can take a long time to resolve problems like this, Bungie will probably be pretty motivated to close this little exploit.
