Oculus Rift has attracted yet another former member of Valve, with Aaron Nicholls making the jump to join a growing posse of past colleagues.

The news comes via Oculus Rift's Twitter, confirming Nicholls's position on the VR firm's R&D team.

Nicholls joins several prominent Valve members who have jumped ship for Oculus VR including Atman Binstock, Tom Forsyth and most recently virtual reality R&D head Michael Abrash.

Oculus has the money to make high-profile hires and the resources to convince potential defectors of its ability to go to the distance thanks to its $2 billion acquisition by Facebook.

Nicholls joined Valve in 2010, working on various titles and systems. His CV includes a sting at Microsoft, and credits on Gears of War, Halo 3 and Jade Empire.

Thanks, Polygon.
