November Studios puts Inemeri: A Familiar World on hold

Inemeri: A Familiar World, touted as the first casual social game with triple A production values, has been put on the backburner.

November broke the sad news in an email to hopeful beta testers, in which it said the team is happy with progress so far but needs to turn its energies elsewhere for a while.

"We wanted to let you know that we got some early feedback and have decided to re-focus our developments towards a new game, Broken Arrow," it wrote.

"Because of this change in direction, the Inemeri Beta has been put on hold while we take advantage of this new opportunity. We hope that you will find Broken Arrow as exciting as we do and as innovative as our Inemeri concept."

The free to play action game Broken Arrow is destined for web and tablets, and uses a one-handed control system.

November Studios came to public attention in April when ex-EA and LucasArts founding members announced the unusual Inemeri. Boasting the tagline "share the epic", the 3D title was to focus on "creative exploration".
