No southpaw mode for Skyward Sword

Nintendo has squashed reports of a left-handed mode in The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword.

IGN had reported the game, which is a showcase for the MotionPlus technology and relies on precise movements, would allow left-handed users to flip flop controls.

A statement from Nintendo to Kotaku denies its existence, although the site's preview sugests the results aren't too dramatic.

The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword is due in November, and is expected to be the Wii's swansong as it gives way before the Wii U.

Thanks, GoNintendo.
