No games BAFTAs in 2008

GI.biz is reporting that the BAFTA Video Games Awards have been pushed back until 2009 in order to "facilitate a more effective judging process."

Last year's awards were marred with difficulties as some titles had to be judged before completion. The extra time will give the panel enough space in which to adequately assess '08s releases, aparently.

The date of the next ceremony is March 10, 2009.
