No Dungeon Defenders PC DLC for console versions, move is "unfeasible"

Trendy Entertainment has confirmed it has no intentions to bring over the existing DLC content for the PC version of Dungeon Defenders for the PS3 and Xbox 360 versions.

The developer said the transfer wasn't possible for a variety of reasons, mainly technical and financial.

"After much thought and investigation, we’ve decided it’s unfeasible from both a technical and business standpoint to bring the PC-only content (Holiday DLC, New Heroes Pack, Barbarian, Assault Mission Pack, Nightmare Mode, Shops, etc.) to the console versions," said community manager Hitmonchan in a post on the game's forums.

"This is for a variety of reasons including the massive restructuring of the current console game that would have to take place, the QA process necessary to prepare for submission, patch size limitations, patch stacking requirements, and the opportunity cost of pursuing other projects."

Trendy launched the last DLC pack for PC owners, Quest for the Lost Eternia Shards, back in December. The full game launched in October of last year, with a PS Vita version landing this year.
