Nintendo still developing Vitality Sensor, Kid Icarus 3DS hitting this summer

Nintendo's confirmed at its investor meeting that it's still developing the Vitality Sensor for Wii, as well as confirming a summer launch for Kid Icarus: Uprising on 3DS.

The Wii Vitality Sensor was announced by Nintendo boss Satoru Iwata back at E3 in 2009, but not much else has been heard of it since.

Uprising, meanwhile, has gone without a date in Japan until now. Still no firm release date other than just summer, though.

In addition, 3DS owners are to get a 3D classic in the form of Excite Bikes for the price of nothing. It'll drop in the system's May update which will also include 3DS eShop and many other features.

The Virtual Console homefront for 3DS will kick off with titles belonging to Game Boy and Game Boy Colour. Afterwards, Nintendo will looking into bringing other platforms for the VC.
