Nintendo rolls out 3DS system stability update

Nintendo has published another new 3DS system update after users found that the previous update raised problems with several of the console's features.

Nintendo Life reports that last month's 5.0.0-11U update caused some users difficulty when trying to access the 3DS eShop, system settings menu and game notes.

The new patch will bump consoles up to version 5.1.0-11U and comes with the following update message:

Version 5.1.0-11U available via wireless Internet connection includes the following improvements:
Resolves an issue that may prevent access to the System Settings or other features.
