Nintendo president Shuntaro Furukawa has apologized for the infamous Joy-Con drift Switch and Switch Lite some users have reported since launch.
Some Switch users have reported problems with Joy-Con drift since the console launched in 2017, and Nintendo's president has now apologized for the issue.
“We are continuing to aim to improve our products, but as the Joy-Con is the subject of a class-action lawsuit in the United States and this is still a pending issue, we would it like to refrain from responding about any specific actions.”
Back in July of last year, the law office of Chimicles, Schwartz Kriner & Donaldson-Smith filed a class-action lawsuit against Nintendo over the Joy-Con issue.
The issue stems from control sticks going off-center after extended use, making the stick drift slightly during play. For some players, it’s a major problem.
