Switch production will increase dramatically due to expected high demand for the system.

Nintendo plans to increase production on Switch throughout its next fiscal year.

According to sources speaking with the Wall Street Journal, Nintendo plans to manufacture between 25 million and 30 million by the end of March 2019.

At present, the company is producing around 2 million units per month, according to GI.biz. Taking the aforementioned figures into account, production would increase to 2.5 million units per month

Switch systems have currently shipped 7.63 million units. Nintendo said in its latest financial report it expected to ship around 10 million Switch units by the end of the current fiscal year which ends on March 31, 2018. The company revised this forecast to 14 million units for the fiscal year.
