Nintendo has revealed, in a surprising move, that it's releasing a new miniature NES called the Nintendo Classic Mini: Nintendo Entertainment System. This system is a replica of the classic console, available this November.

This mini replica supports HDMI, and comes complete with 30 NES games pre-installed. It also comes with a new NES controller, a USB cable, an HDMI cable, and will set you back $60, and $10 for an extra controller. (no UK prices at the moment).

The Mini NES Controller can be used to play Virtual Console NES games you own on the Wii or Wii U when you plug it into a Wii Remote Controller. Similar to Virtual Console games you may have played before, games on the new mini console will support multiple save states.

The Mini NES releases November 11, and it doesn't include the AC adapter (in the UK) you'll need to power the system up.
