Nintendo eShop down for maintenance March 13

Nintendo has announced an extended maintenance downtime for the 3DS and Wii U eShop later this week.

The extended maintenance window will run in addition to regular weekly maintenance.

The downtime kicks off at 1:00PM PT March 13 and is expected to end at 5:00PM PT March 13 and

Nintendo gave no details as to the reason for the downtime, noting only that both the 3DS and Wii U eShop would be affected.

There will also be a shorter period of network maintenance affecting Pokémon X & Y on 3DS early Monday morning, US time.
