You can now buy Nintendo DS games on Wii U

Nintendo has released the first DS title on the Wii U's Virtual Console store without warning. We had no idea this was coming so soon, but it bodes well seeing as the handheld's roster of games is rather massive.

The first Nintendo DS game for Wii U is Brain Age - or Brain Training here in the UK - and it's just launched in Japan for free. Earlier this year, company president Satoru Iwata revealed that DS titles would be coming to the console at some point, but couldn't narrow it down any further.
